I built M.I.A after a decade in the insurance industry, experiencing firsthand the limitations of outdated systems, traditional office models, commission debt, and structures where the value people created wasn't always recognized.

My original goal was to build a different kind of insurance agency — remote, transparent, technology-powered, and designed to help agents build real recurring income and greater freedom. But there was another challenge I needed to solve: distribution.

You can give agents great training, products, technology, and support, but they still need people to talk to. Solving that challenge led me to rethink how everyday relationships could create opportunities. What started as an idea to grow Modern Insurance Advisors evolved into the M.I.A Network, our marketplace, and ultimately the larger MiaOS ecosystem.

Communication creates relationships. Relationships create connections. Connections create opportunities to serve. Service becomes contribution. MiaOS locks in attribution, so contribution is recognized.

Through the M.I.A Network, Affiliates, Service Partners, Insurance Agents, and customers become part of a connected ecosystem where relationships create opportunities for everyone involved.

Those connections generate business for our partners, income opportunities for our network, and customers, leads, and recruits for Modern Insurance Advisors. Meanwhile, Insurance Agents and Team Leaders can participate as Affiliates, building their own distribution networks instead of relying entirely on purchased leads or traditional prospecting.

This also supports our as-earned insurance model. While agents build long-term recurring income through insurance, marketplace activity provides another potential income source without relying on advances against future commissions. At the same time, those transactions create relationships that can develop into insurance opportunities.

We're addressing two challenges simultaneously: creating income while building a book of business and finding people to serve.

And the connection works both ways.

Insurance customers can discover travel, experiences, and other marketplace services. Marketplace customers can become insurance clients, Affiliates, agents, or Service Partners themselves.

The Network feeds the insurance agency. The insurance agency feeds the Network. Every new relationship has the potential to expand the ecosystem.

But creating opportunity is only part of the equation. People also need structure and direction to grow sustainably.

That's why we're building a 10-day cadence throughout M.I.A — a shared operating rhythm that creates checkpoints, maintains alignment, and allows MiaOS to proactively guide people toward their next priorities. Not through constant pressure, but through consistent, sustainable progress.

Together, these components create a connected system.

The M.I.A Network drives distribution and marketplace transactions. Modern Insurance Advisors builds long-term recurring insurance revenue. MiaOS connects everything, preserves attribution, recognizes contribution, and provides the technology and guidance that keeps the ecosystem moving forward.

The more the network grows, the more opportunity it creates. The more value the ecosystem creates, the more we can reinvest in creating even more opportunity.

Ultimately, M.I.A is about building something where contribution is recognized and can compound over time — because contribution can create income, income can create options, and options can create freedom.
